I often use exit tickets in my classroom. I don’t typically use digital ones as I don’t have enough devices for this to be effective. Typically my exit tickets are on post its or student white boards. My students answer the question on their white boards and leave the board on their desks when they go out to recess, I then I can walk around the room and glance to see who has it and who doesn’t. I usually take pictures of the ones I want to use for “My Favourite No” the next day. I also use the Van De Wall assessments as exit tickets. I use exit or entrance tickets 2-3 times a week as a quick formative assessment to check in and see where my students are at. My exit ticket I posted is one I would use before we start reviewing at the end of our unit to see which strategies my students want me to go over before the final assessment. I will be sharing it with my students in Teams for them to complete.
