This is something I would like to include in my BC Coast unit as something we would work on as part of our inquiry process getting to know the coast. I have included my teacher planning as well as what I would give to my students, typically with my class I would model the steps with my own sample topic in my case talking about Goose Bay on River’s Inlet. I have given written steps and the draft time line for this project however with students in grade 4 much of the direction is oral and through modeling and having them look at my sample work and often pick it apart to see what works and what doesn’t.
